Vision

Renaissance at Bader Field is a planned $2.7 billion dollar, net-zero carbon LEED Platinum community to be built upon Bader Field that will transform the Atlantic City, New Jersey economy.  The fundamental design approach of this new community is rooted in resilient and sustainable design methodologies while our microgrid concept for energy generation and distribution, with the ability to utilize clean hydrogen, will serve as a model for future self-sustaining projects the world over.  This new community will act as a catalyst for the financial rebirth of Atlantic City by attracting new job-creating industries, increasing the city’s tax base and diversifying future businesses in the city.  Most importantly, this immense development will foster and promote the core values of equity and empowerment and will serve the citizens of Atlantic City. 

Mission

Our purpose is to develop smart and sustainable real estate developments that are unique in terms of use, building type, scope, resiliency and sustainability which in turn provide a stimulus for attracting and creating new and vibrant local economies that financially support the city in which they operate.  We seek to develop real estate located in underserved communities with the goal to diversify the economic balance and job market by attracting new and dynamic businesses that are long-term job creators for today’s economy that will not only hire local community members but also provide unique educational opportunities for the community’s young people.

Our goal is to create broad-based solutions for community problems that prevent a city from realizing its greatest potential and maximizing its asset base.  As members of the Atlantic City community, we know Bader Field is one of the most valuable assets of Atlantic City and the type of development that occurs there will be of the utmost importance.  However, what is often overlooked is that Bader Field is a Federal EPA-designated brownfield site which means it is polluted and must be cleaned up before it can be developed.  We believe this type of scenario creates opportunity for the greater good which we seek to realize for the citizens of Atlantic City.

Allowing environmental, social and governance matters to influence our daily work is good business.  DEEM is a member of the community and so our work seeks to address as many of the community's concerns and problems as possible in order to improve the quality of life for all.  We believe in an approach that brings together local companies and stakeholders to help the larger community while both employing and educating as many citizens, both young and old, as we can.
